Julie: Should special education teachers in resource room teach general curriculum in addition to compensatory skills as listed in annual goals and objectives?
IDEA rules say that students must be taught the general curriculum. Resource rooms are a logical place to do some of this, especially if they are the only one teaching a specific subject.
