Ann: My autistic twins just started at their home school. They are 10, in the special ed classroom. I was informed that the school wants to take them out of their current home school and bus them to another school. I am not for this change. What are my rights as a parent?
While schools can do this, they are required to try to keep them on the home campus, & explain to the parent what has been tried to keep them there, & why they must be moved to get an appropriate education & what a parent can do to challenge their decision.
