Cheri:  I live in MI. How long after an IEP do I have to file due process and receive a “stay put”?

In some states it is 2 years but a hearing judge can extend the time if they feel it needs to be. But you will need to check your state education office to find out for sure what your state time frame is.

Probably a year, but this should be on the state education agency’s website. Your state parent training & information center can assist you. http://www.parentcenterhub.org/find-your-center
