Advocacy: DO I HAVE TO HAVE A CHILD WITH DISABILITIES TO BE AN ADVOCATE

Elena: Hello, my question is ,do I have to have a child with disabilities to get informed? I’m really interested in becoming an advocate. I currently work with adults. I am a coach and want to further my career.  honestly enjoy so much what I do.

You can be an advocate without having a child with a disability. Your state parent training & information center is a great source of information & training. http://www.parentcenterhub.org/find-your-center/
