Progress: PARENT NOT RECEIVING PROGRESS DATA

William:  I have asked numerous times for progress data on services delivered by the SLP only to hear she’s making progress. It even goes to accusing me of targeting the SLP and questioning her professionalism by asking any questions about process of delivery of services. Any suggestions on how to deal with this situation?

If you have not contacted the special ed director you should. If so you could use the district’s internal complaint process, or file a complaint with the state education agency. Your state parent training & information center can assist you. http://www.parentcenterhub.org/find-your-center
