Nichole: My son is being placed in a failing school… because there is a mild -moderate class available there that they need to fill. His home school has a mild moderate class but is full….how can I get him in his home school???

A tough situation! You may need to do some thinking outside the box. Perhaps request a placement at another school, one that is not failing. Perhaps visit the proposed school — sometimes failing schools are given additional resources. I once saw a flotilla of excellent teachers volunteer to transfer to a failing school in order to turn it around.
