Google annual yearly progress under NCLB & you will find a variety of articles. AYP will go away or change since we are moving from NCLB to Every Student Succeeds Act.

Question on this …IF a child IEP was implemented while AYP was in effect, Continuously requested this information from school and district, that would still hold them accountable for THAT school year. Correct? I ask this because it was stated, “moving from NCLB” .
(School ignores my request. Because they do not have it. ). This is a HUGE topic and very difficult to get results. However, if there is no progress, lack of information that is grounds to begin Due process.

They should be accountable for the laws/rules that were in place at the time. Your state parent training & information center should be able to assist you. http://www.parentcenterhub.org/find-your-center/
