Re-Evaluations: LOSING STAY PUT AT RE-EVALUATION MEETING WITHOUT PARENT CONSENT

Distrustful Parent: Can my child lose his “stay-put” status at a reevaluation meeting and be put into an out-of-district placement of the school’s choice without my consent?

  1. I’m not sure about this — ask your parent center — but my guess is that if you file for due process, boom, stay-put is suddenly absolutely required.
