Lissa: My special needs son was recently kicked off his track team. He got upset at some things other kids were saying about him and wandered away during practice. The coach has specifically stated that since this was a safety issue that she cant be responsible for him and then kicked him off the team! Is there a responsibility for the school staff to offer accommodations in offering behavioral supports to keep my son from wandering off during after school sports?
