Jamie: Do general education students have the same rights as Special Ed students? Special Ed students have the right to due process hearing transcripts, does general ed student also have that right?

I am not sure. But, I have on child in special ed and another not in special ed. I advocated for both at a high level BUT the one in special ed .had more of an advantage due to federal and state laws. However, I found other ways to navigate for my other child who is not in special ed. that had great results such as using data (assessments, grades,reports, etc.) to advance her in honors as some teachers seemed biased against certain types of students, and I was able to use other measures to advocate for both in the same way.
