Kim: My friend’s son was receiving chemo for the first school semester this year. He is a junior. He had a homebound tutor and 504 implemented.There was poor communication by the history teacher and the problem now, is that the teacher still expects 25 assignments to be completed from first semester, in addition to what is currently being done in class. Doesn’t this sound excessive? How could a student, who wasn’t even in attendance, be required to do so much?
What was agreed to when the 504 Accommodation was instituted?
