Sarah: I am trying to get support to change a Missouri law that goes into effect 1/1/17. This law makes it a felony to cause injury to another person, and school officials must report assault to the police. As the parent of a child with autism, this terrifies me. As a lawmaker, I am determined to change it, but I cannot make changes without support. I am reaching out to wrightslaw to get help in the form of letters and calls from parents to their legislators to change this, and possibly testimony. My official email is Sarah.unsicker@house.mo.gov, please feel free to contact my office about this. I would appreciate whatever support I can get.

Rebecca – Thanks for posting the link with additional information. Everyone in MO will need to do their homework on this one.
I have 3 children with developmental delays, 1 including ADHD. I’m worried this will definitely effect my children. What can I do to help stop this?
