FAQs About Wrightslaw Training

We receive many requests from people who want us to provide legal and/or advocacy training in their community or state. We decided to publish this "frequently asked questions" about conferences and training.

We do not plan, arrange or schedule training sessions. We are just Pete and Pam Wright -- we do not have the staff or resources necessary to organize training programs. When we come to an area, we do this because a group or organization has contracted with us and is taking care of the logistics.

Over the past several months, organizations in West Virginia, New Hampshire, New York, Washington, Virginia, California, and South Carolina arranged for us to provide training in their areas. These organizations found creative ways to fund this training.

Some groups used grants. Some solicited financial assistance from companies, hospitals, medical practices and law firms. In other training, two or three groups pooled their resources to bring us in.

We can help get the word out through our newsletter.

Pete has a very active trial practice. Pam writes books and articles, publishes newsletters, and builds websites. Generally, we limit out-of-town travel to no more than one conference or training session a month.

If you think you may want us to do an advocacy presentation in your area or to your group, please send an email to conf@wrightslaw.com

You will get an automatic email with more information about how to arrange training in your area. Thanks for your support!
