Continuing Education Units (CEUs)

Wrightslaw Multimedia Training Programs have been approved for Continuing Education Credits (CEUs) by Delta State University.

Continuing Education Units (CEUs)Wrightslaw WebEx Training - CEUs

umkcThe Division of Continuing Education provides graduate credit for practicing teachers and CEUs for other professionals who need to document their professional development hours.

The continuing education unit has been established nationally as a measure of participation in continuing education activities. Many professional societies and official licensing agencies welcome the CEU as a ready means of determining the extent to which people have fulfilled requirements for periodic continuing education study.

One CEU = ten contact hours of participation. For example, the Special Education Law and Advocacy Training program is 6.0 hours long, and is approved for 0.6 units or 6.0 sixty-minute clock hours.

Wrightslaw Multimedia Training programs will vary in time and units. We are adding new programs often so check the Program Library to view available programs.

How It Works

Complete the Wrightslaw Multimedia Training program.

Complete the Exam or Evaluation Form and Participant Application for CEU Credit. Make three copies of each form. Keep one set of forms for your records. Mail two copies of the completed forms to:

    CEU Form
    Harbor House Law Press, Inc.
    PO Box 480
    Hartfield, VA 23071

You need to include two checks with your CEU paperwork. One check for $15.00 is payable to Harbor House Law Press, Inc. The other check for $20.00 should be payable to Delta State University.

Upon receipt of your Exam, Participant Application for CEU Credit and both checks, Harbor House Law Press will confirm your purchase of the program and review your answers to the Exam. We will forward your Exam, Participant Application for CEU Credit and your $20.00 check to Delta State University. The University will process your CEU paperwork and mail your certificate directly to you.

Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for processing. In the interim, if you have online banking, you can confirm Delta State University's receipt of your papework by checking to see if the check has cleared.

Note: If you have questions about acceptable CEUs in your state, please check with your professional certification body, professional society, or governmental licensing board.
