Wrightslaw Special Education and Advocacy Conference, a Wrightslaw training program with Pete Wright and Pam Wright, is being brought to you by The Autism Society of America - San Diego Chapter.

Program Description

One-day special education law and advocacy programs focus on four areas:

  • special education law, rights and responsibilities
  • tests and measurements to measure progress & regression
  • SMART IEPs
  • introduction to tactics & strategies for effective advocacy

Wrightslaw programs are designed to meet the needs of parents, educators, health care providers, advocates and attorneys who represent children with disabilities regarding special education. The program is not disability specific.

From the North: Take the I-5 South. Take the Sea World Drive exit (Exit 21) to the Right. Stay straight on Sea World Drive for approximately 1.6 miles. Merge onto the Ingraham Street exit to the Right. Stay Right and merge onto the West Mission Bay Drive ramp to the Right. Turn Right after .1 miles into The Dana.

From the South: Take the I-5 North. Merge Right onto the I-8 West toward BEACHES. Take the Sports Arena Blvd/West Misssion Bay Dr. exit to the Right toward West Mission Bay Dr. Stay Right and merge onto the West Mission Bay Drive ramp to the Right. Turn Right after .1 miles into The Dana.

From the East: Take the I-8 West. Take the Sports Arena Blvd/West Misssion Bay Dr. exit to the Right toward West Mission Bay Dr. Stay Right and merge onto the West Mission Bay Drive ramp to the Right. Turn Right after .1 miles into The Dana.
