Office Assistant

Dynamic, growing law information and publishing house is looking for an energetic, service-oriented, part-time (20-25 hrs/wk) Office Assistant. The successful candidate enjoys a fast-paced team environment, takes pride in his/her work, and wants more than the average 9-5 job.

The employer is Harbor House Law Press, Inc., the publisher of Wrightslaw books and information products. The office is located in Deltaville, Virginia.

Responsibilities

Answers phones, takes and fulfills orders, provides product information, enters orders into database, maintains customer accounts and inventory.

Position Requirements

* Excellent telephone etiquette, interpersonal & communications skills

* Ability to organize, prioritize, multi-task

* Strong attention to detail

* Willing to learn new skills

* Dependable, responsible, good work ethic

* Able and willing to lift boxes of books that weigh up to 40 pounds.

* Willing to work extra hours during peak times (publication of new products, high volume shipments)

The office is computerized. We will train.

This position includes the possibility of advancement within the company. Salary is commensurate with experience.
