the Dangers of "Blind Trust"
am a school psychologist and find parentsí blind trust of "the professionals"
Too often, the results of my work show the child has deficits that require specific remediation. After the student enters a special education program, the child doesn't receive remediation. The child doesn't receive the type of services he or she needs, so the child regresses.
At least 90-95 percent of student behavior problems are directly related to years
of inappropriate special education, no real "remediation" and no positive results.
