On-Demand Web Training Coming Soon

If you cannot join us in Lexington on August 22, we will soon offer on-demand web training programs. The six-hour Wrightslaw Special Education Law and Advocacy program was produced this summer. The program is divided into four segments: two about the law and two about advocacy and includes more than an hour of extra content. This program will be available in a few weeks.

On-demand programs allow you to study when time permits. You can work at your own pace. If you prefer to study with others, team up with a friend or two. Or start an educational advocacy study group.

We are building a library of on-demand programs on a variety of topics. Later, depending on interest, we may offer live events and/or training.

Kentucky Yellow Pages for Kids

We have been revising and updating the Yellow Pages for Kids website. If you are listed on the Kentucky Yellow Pages for Kids, please take a moment to check your listing to ensure that your information is still accurate. If you need to update your listing, you can do so by using the Application on the Yellow Pages for Kids site.

If you are a service provider (i.e., educational consultant, psychologist, educational diagnostician, health care provider, academic therapist, tutor, speech language therapist, occupational therapist, coach, advocate, or attorney for children with disabilities) and are not listed yet, we encourage you to fill out the Application. Listings are free!

On behalf of the Autism Society of the Bluegrass, the Down Syndrome Association of Central Kentucky and the Coalition for Reform in Special Education (CRISIS), we appreciate your forwarding this email to others who may be interested in this training program.

We hope to see you in Lexington!

Many thanks,

Pete Wright & Pam Wright
