We will update you as soon as possible.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>This <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wrightslaw.com\/speak\/20.05.va.htm\">Wrightslaw Special Education Law and Advocacy Conference<\/a>, a Wrightslaw training program featuring <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wrightslaw.com\/speak\/p2\/pete.bio.htm\">Pete Wright, Esq<\/a>., is being sponsored by TEAM Caleb Josiah.<\/p>\n<p>The programs will be held at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tcc.edu\/\">Tidewater Community College Virginia Beach Campus<\/a>, located at 1700 College Crescent, Student Center, 2nd Floor in Virginia Beach, VA 23453. The trainings takes place on Wednesday, May 13, 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Each one-day special education law and advocacy program will focus on four areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>special education law, rights and responsibilities<\/li>\n<li>tests and measurements to measure progress &amp; regression<\/li>\n<li>SMART IEPs<\/li>\n<li>introduction to tactics &amp; strategies for effective advocacy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Wrightslaw programs are designed to meet the needs of parents, educators, health care providers, advocates and attorneys who represent children with disabilities regarding special education.
