This <a href=\"http:\/\/issuu.com\/dodmfr\/docs\/efmp_master_list_of_reports__articles__and_regulat\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Master List of Reports, Articles, and Regulations<\/span><\/a> will help.<\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0 Read the full text of legislation attached to the 2013 NDAA, otherwise known as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wrightslaw.com\/info\/tricare.kids.jan2013.pdf\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">TRICARE for Kids<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>We hope keeping military families informed empowers them.<\/strong><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>2011 NDAA report, the Senate Armed Services Committee noted,<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe committee also believes that public transparency of Council actions should be increased, and encourages the Council to establish a website. This website should serve to keep military families informed about upcoming Council meetings and to post the outcomes of prior meetings, and to increase transparency of Council activities and reports.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Military Family Readiness Council consists of DoD policy makers, military spouses and a number of NGO\u2019s who represent military families (The American Red Cross, Blue Star Families, and the National Military Family Association).<\/p>\n<p><strong>It is imperative that military families know who on the Military Family Readiness Council represents them, how to reach them, and how to make a difference in the programs that they have come to rely upon.\u00a0<\/strong> With the effects of sequestration starting to sink in, we think it is more important now than ever.<\/p>\n<p>The next council meeting is scheduled for the 1st of May at 1430 at the Pentagon.\u00a0 More information will be posted as soon as it is listed in the Federal Registry.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019d ask you to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/DoDMFRC\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">\u201clike\u201d our page<\/span><\/a> and please pass along this critical information to your network so that we can continue to ensure that all families, from the deck plate up, are involved.\u00a0 Whether it\u2019s Facebook, Twitter, your blog, or simply emailing your contacts, this is important.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you very much for your time.\u00a0 Our military families so appreciate the work you do on their behalf.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000080;\">More Resources<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ulrzR4o02Vc\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" style=\"margin-left: 3px;
