The location is minutes from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.macarthurairport.com\/\">ISP Airport<\/a> which has direct flights from BWI, MCO, PBI, and TPA.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Program Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This one-day special education law and advocacy programs focus on four areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>special education law, rights and responsibilities<\/li>\n<li>tests and measurements to measure progress &amp; regression<\/li>\n<li>SMART IEPs<\/li>\n<li>introduction to tactics &amp; strategies for effective advocacyWrightslaw programs are designed to meet the needs of parents, educators, health care providers, advocates and attorneys who represent children with disabilities regarding special education. <strong>The program is not disability specific.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Registration Includes:<\/strong> The conference fee includes a light breakfast, lunch and refreshments, a Wrightslaw highlighter pen, and three Wrightslaw books &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wrightslaw.com\/bks\/selaw3\/selaw3.htm\">Wrightslaw: Special Education Law, 3rd Edition<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wrightslaw.com\/bks\/feta2\/feta2.htm\">Wrightslaw: From Emotions to Advocacy, 2nd Edition<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wrightslaw.com\/bks\/aaiep\/index.htm\">Wrightslaw: All About IEPs<\/a> provided the morning of the conference.
