We had a consult with attorney who told me to document all emails from the beginning when my son had difficulties in school. He is now in a tbs because of severe anxiety and we want school district to pay. We live in NY and are complying with school district going to see all schools they are suggesting for him. Most of the schools treat autistic students and my son has no autism. Should we hire the attorney who charges 8,500 plus 10% for a hearing to hope the school district will settle with us?
