We used a letter with statutes provided by Wrightslaw to keep him on diploma track. I have been contacted by a teacher who told me that the school is still planning on having a teacher with an FMD certification manage his special education case. She said that the teacher does not have a LBD certification. I want my son kept in the inclusive environment of the classroom. Is there a way to check a teacher&#8217;s certification in Kentucky? The teacher certifications are not listed on the school&#8217;s website. Is this legal to place a child who is considered a LBD with an FMD teacher?
