He was given center based OT for SPD and home based speech therapy. The SPD OT was amazing and we saw major improvements in his ability to focus, his ability to finish tasks, his ability to transition improved dramatically as well as his physical coordination. We moved to No Cal where they do not offer center based OT and our home based therapist just plays some games with him. She has seen him 6 times and when I question her about deep muscle sensory or obstacle courses, she says she is still getting to know him. We are about to start the transition to IEP with the school district and I am told I will not be offered SPD OT &#8211; is that true?
