At the annual review, we were told she will now only receive skills support every other day because that is all the high school offers.\u00a0 Can the district automatically make this change?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Your daughter&#8217;s educational program and services are developed by the IEP Team (you are part of that Team) and written in the IEP.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Model IEP Form<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>IDEA requires that your child&#8217;s IEP includes the frequency, duration, location, and projected dates for services.<\/p>\n<p>34 C.F.R. Section 300.320(a)(7) in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wrightslaw.com\/store\/aaieps.html\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Wrightslaw: All About IEPs<\/span><\/a><span style=\"color: #000000;\">, page 43.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Read the US DOE Guidance on the required content of IEPs explained in the <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><a style=\"color: #000080;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wrightslaw.com\/idea\/osep.statute.htm#model\">Model IEP Form<\/a><\/span>.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>Your child&#8217;s IEP drives her program, placement, and services &#8211; not what the school has available.<\/strong> The school is responsible for providing FAPE.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>The Annual IEP Review<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The annual review is for IEP team to review and revise the IEP based on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>any lack of expected progress<\/li>\n<li>results of any reevaluation<\/li>\n<li>information provided by the parents<\/li>\n<li>anticipated needs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>20 U.S.C.
