The Summit features Patty Roberts, Pat Howey, Jaime L. V\u00e1zquez-Bernie, Catherine Michael, Jim Comstock- Galagan and Pete and Pam Wright.<\/p>\n

The St. Mary’s University School of Law<\/a> is presenting the Special Education Advocacy Summit (SEAS), a two and one-half day training program hosted by the Center for Legal and Social Justice<\/a> and co-sponsored by Wrightslaw<\/a> and Connell Michael, LLP.<\/a><\/p>\n

The Summit will commence with a reception on Wednesday evening, June 5, 2024<\/strong> and concludes on Saturday afternoon, June 8, 2024.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The program will feature approximately fourteen sessions<\/strong> covering applicable laws, ethics, best practices in advocacy, strategies for working with parents and schools and dispute-resolution procedures. These sessions will be taught by national leaders in the field.<\/p>\n

The purpose of the SEAS program<\/a> is to provide training in special education advocacy for experienced advocates, law students, new attorneys and attorneys new to special education law.<\/p>\n
