Tips for Participating in Discussion Group

If you want to submit a question or comment, compose your thoughts first. Use your word processor, then copy and paste your comment on the "submit" page.

Please do not provide personally identifiable information
about yourself or anyone else in your post. You do not have to include your last name and where you live. If you provide your email address, you may receive helpful replies from others who are reluctant to post a comment but would like to help.

If you are a parent and have complaints about your district, remember that your goal is to find accurate information and solutions to your problems, not to use this page to vent your frustrations.

When you go to the COMMENTS page, the form will say "sign the guestbook." Click sign the guestbook to compose and send your question or comment.

Legal Advice

Please do not request that Pete provide advice on a legal and factual issue. The answers to many legal questions are at our website. You need to do the homework yourself. Read the statute, regulations and and comments about the regulations. Read Appendix A. Read cases about your legal issue. If you follow these steps, you will be an expert on your legal issue.

Consultations

Pete provides consultations after he has reviewed the child's file. Consultations help parents develop a game plan and decide what questions need to be asked and answered.
