Welcome to Wrightslaw Communities

We get hundreds of emails and letters every week from people who have questions about special education. This volume of mail means we can't provide personal answers to your questions.

The purpose of Wrightslaw is to provide information about special education, law, IEPs, conflict resolution, and tactics and strategies that you can use to resolve problems.

We want to reduce the loneliness and isolation that many parents feel. We know that parents can form powerful self-help groups, if given a chance.

Wrightslaw has two resources that you may use to get more personalized help.

Wrightslaw Discussion Group

Check out the Discussion Group on Wrightslaw - it offers a place where people can post questions and give and receive timely advice.

New Wrightslaw Forum

We know that special ed problems are often confusing, frustrating - sometimes frightening. When people help one another, they grow stronger.

We added a new Wrightslaw Forum to the site. The purpose of the Wrightslaw Forum is to provide information, support, and help you connect with one another. We want to encourage creative problem solving.

Please visit the new Wrightslaw Forum and help us build a healthy community!

Thanks!
Pete and Pam Wright
