Assignment #2: WRITE A LETTER
Your assignment this week: Write a short, one page letter to the school to request an action.
Before you write, answer these questions:
- Why am I writing? What is my purpose?
- What do I want? What am I trying to accomplish?
We will use a 20 point checklist to review your letter to ensure you have included all of the correct elements.
Your letter must follow the 12 rules of letter writing. Need some help? Review previous issues in the Summer School Short Course: Advocating Through Letter Writing and Chapter 23 and 24 in Wrightslaw: From Emotions to Advocacy.
