Laurie: I would like to audit my child’s classes. The school has denied my request. I have explained my request would be the two classes in which she needs the most help.

For the latter — I don’t think this will work. But you should be able to get a textbook to keep at home, and a daily electronic copy of all classwork and homework assignments.
The district should have a policy on parents observing in a classroom. Start by determining what the policy says. On the homepage of this site you can google parent observations to get more suggestions on dealing with the school
