ISEA 2018: July 29 – August 3, 2018, William & Mary Law School, Williamsburg, VA

The William & Mary Law School Institute of Special Education Advocacy (ISEA) is presenting a five-day training program in special education advocacy.

  • 22+ sessions on applicable laws, ethics, best practices in advocacy, strategies in working with parents and schools, dispute resolution procedures, and preparing for due process
  • taught by national leaders in the field
  • designed for experienced advocates, law students, new attorneys, and attorneys who are new to special education law
  • CEU and CLE credit anticipated (including Ethics)
  • law students – credit & non credit
  • W&M Law School Certificate in Special Education Advocacy
  • attendance limited to 65

Conference details including fees, registration, and agenda topics.

Attendees will be selected via an application process. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis bi-monthly until the class is full. Early applications are recommended.

Question: A Pre-K SPED student who needs a vest to ride the bus to school, but does not have transportation as a related service in the IEP. The vest is able to be put onto the General Education bus. Can this child ride the PRe-K General Education bus that door-door-door drop off? Or does he need a SPED bus? SPED and General Ed students K-5 ride the buses together.
