Re-Evaluations: REEVALUATION REQUIREMENTS FOR SPECIAL EDUCATION SERVICES

LaQuita: Is it a law that the child has to be retested or reevaluated for special education every 3 years if already have IEP. ( Child qualified for special education in 5th grade now in 8th and was later diagnosed with dyslexia also challenges with attention. Can no additional data be checked on the IEP teams decision regarding reevaluation.
The school is telling me that he qualified for special education in intellectual IQ 97 and achievement but they’re only going to retest in behavior hearing vision and observation. If pass those, he might not qualify for special education. PLEASE HELP
