lldiko: I have read somewhere that a parent should give consent to the school or to the IEP Team about putting a child in isolation room, time out room, CPI. I know it needs to be in his IEP, under BIP and the room needs to be presented to parents before use. Where do I find thi to print about consent?

Restraint and seclusion are governed by state law and, where that is lacking, local policy.I encourage you to connect with your local parent center (http://www.parentcenterhub.org/find-your-center/). They should be able to help you find and understand consent rules in your state.
