Nancy: Hi my son has ADHD inattentive. He has a 504 plan in school, we moved and my question is based on his condition, can he stay in the old school based on the CA ‘s open enrollment policy? Moving to a new environment will be too stressful for him. What are his rights under IDEA law?
I’m in the same situation as well in WV. Would love to find out answer since no one here seems to understand how stressful/traumatic this can be for a child.
